Mr. and Mrs. Rodney McCartha of Luverne, Ala., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Leigh-Ann McCartha, to Andrew Peter Moorer,

son of Mr. and Mrs. Davis W. Moorer of Fort Deposit, Ala.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Thomas Jones McCartha and Mattie Ainsworth of Prattville, Ala., and Mrs. Mary Frost and the late Joseph A. D. Frost of Luverne, Ala.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Moorer of Fort Deposit, Ala., and Mrs. Agnes Stringer and the late John A. Stringer of Montgomery, Ala.

Miss McCartha graduated from Troy State University in 2004 with an Accounting degree and is currently employed by the State of Alabama with the Administrative Office of Courts in Montgomery, Ala.

Mr. Moorer is a 2000 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Poultry Science and is employed with First South Farm Credit of Luverne, Ala.

The couple will marry Saturday, September 9, 2006, at Luverne Church of Christ.
