The campus of Fort Dale Academy is looking “its best in a long time,” Headmaster David Brantley said.
According to Brantley, plenty of paint and some “face-lifting” projects have given the campus a fresh, new look for the 2006-2007 school year.
A new brick and iron entrance from Gamble Street spruces up the football field, which also features improved seating for spectators.
“We have added additional supports to make the seating safer and more enjoyable for the fans,” Brantley said.
Additional improvements have been made to the concession area and the restroom facilities, including an expansion of the ladies' facilities.
There is also an ongoing project to raise funds to air condition the school's gym, Brantley said.
Last year, new bleachers were installed in the gym.
“We are proud of the improvements we've made and look forward to future steps to make our campus an even more attractive, safe and enjoyable place for everyone who visits it.”
