Bulldogs continue perfect streak

Chris Booker set the woods on fire, rushing for 234 yards and three touchdowns, leading Brantley to a resounding 45-16 victory over Florala Friday night.
The Bulldogs put an old fashioned &uot;whipping&uot; on the visitors, actually beating them worse than the score indicated.
&uot;Our guys looked ready for the playoffs, but first we have to worry about Kinston and Luverne. We have to continue to work hard and not take anything for granted. We must prepare, prepare, prepare if we’re going to advance in the playoffs,&uot; said Coach David Lowery.
Jonathan Helms led the offensive display completing four of nine for 94 yards and one score, while Thad Frazier was his main target, catching two for 61 yards and the lone TD. Booker led the rushing attack while James Pittman had a big night also, carrying ten times for 112 yards and two scores. Anthony Gulley also returned a kickoff 70 yards for a score.
Defensively, the Daniels' Gang once again led the charge with Dexter contributing ten stops and Jeffrey eight while Corey Latham and Gulley added six apiece.
This week, Brantley travels to Kinston for a battle of the Bulldogs. Game time is 7 p.m.
