Clark, McAliley unite in June wedding at Luverne U.M.C.

Miss Arin Elizabeth Clark and Mr. Gregory Brent McAliley were united in marriage on Saturday, June 24, 2006, in a five o'clock ceremony at Luverne United Methodist Church in Luverne, Ala.
Rev. Ken Jackson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Clark of Luverne.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hedy McDonald and the late Mr. J. E. McDonald of Tuscaloosa and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Clark of Luverne.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gregory McAliley of Niceville, Fla.
He is the grandson of Ms. Alice McAliley and the late Mr. Lex McAliley of Hartford, Ala., and Mrs. Thelma Morris and the late Mr. Flynn D. Morris of Niceville, Fla.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory satin gown in a simple elegant A-line style.
The neckline and hemline were bordered with a champagne cuff, and the back featured a lace-up corset-style gathering with a trailing champagne satin ribbon and sweep train.
The cathedral length veil of ivory tulle was embellished with pearls and crystals.
Her fingertip veil featured a rolled edge champagne trim embellished with pearls which was held in place by a tiara encrusted with pearls in gold, ivory and champagne colors.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Peyton Williamson of Troy.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jamie Paul of Henderson, Miss Jennifer McCartha of Luverne, Miss Pamela Floyd of Troy, Mrs. Hope Peters of Troy and Miss Candi Phillips of Brundidge.
These attendants wore custom designed strapless dresses, which were pale pink tea length and accented at the waist with a chocolate silk sash.
The bride's flower girl was Ava Rose Dean of Montgomery who wore a white heirloom dress and a tiara adorned with baby's breath.
The groom's father served as the best man.
Groomsmen were Mr. Bryan McAliley, brother of the groom, of Niceville, Fla., Mr. Adam Clark, brother of the bride, of Troy, Mr. Brent Harrison of Enterprise, Mr. Clint DeCoux of Louisville, Ky., Mr. Ben Porter of Niceville, Fla., and Mr. Tyler Spears, cousin of the groom, of Tuscaloosa.
The ring bearer was Gavin Paul, cousin of the bride.
Organist Stephanie Jones provided nuptial music and John Barry Roberts was soloist.
The flowers were arranged by Kay Goolsby.
Guest book attendant was Mrs. Samantha Paul.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Luverne Country Club where guests were entertained by the band County Line.
The food was catered and elegantly displayed by Connie Floyd.
The bride's cake and groom's cake were made by Susan Morris and Tammy Bowen of Niceville, Fla.
After a honeymoon to St. Martin's, the couple is now residing in Luverne.
