King to make presentation at Greenville High Dec. 1

Greenville High School was recently recognized as one of Alabama's “Safe Schools”
by the State Attorney General ‘s office.
On Friday, Dec. 1, the school will receive a visit from Attorney General Troy King to present the schools with their award.
“This is the second year in a row we have received this honor, and we are very excited. It reflects so highly on our faculty, staff and resource officers,” Dr. Kathy Murphy, principal of the school, said.
“ It will be wonderful to be presented once more with that trophy to display in our school.”
The award is given out to schools across Alabama that exhibit extraordinary efforts toward providing a safe learning environment.
King is scheduled to make the presentation at 10:15 a.m. Dec. 1 at the school auditorium.
