Mr. and Mrs. Carey C. Falkenberry of Greenville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Beth Falkenberry, to Matthew James Simpson, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Simpson of Marbury.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bettie and Blake Field and the late Marvin Falkenberry of Camden, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Dees of Greenville.

Miss Falkenberry, a 2001 graduate of Greenville High School, is employed by Koch Farms and Ruby Tuesday of Greenville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. James Howell and the late James Howell of Montgomery, and Mrs. David R. Simpson and the late Mr. Simpson of Montgomery.

Mr. Simpson, a 2000 graduate of Marbury High School, attended Trenholm State Technical College and is employed by Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

The wedding is slated for 6 p.m., December 30, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
