Heat topples Raptors by four

During the week, Greenville Parks and Rec. League basketball games took place at Greenville High and the Dunbar gym.

Here are the results of this week's games:

Pee wee

Heat 12, Raptors 8

The Pee wee Heat held the Raptors scoreless in the final period Thursday night to take the 12-8 win.

Jaquan Lewis was the leading scorer with a game-high six points while teammate Takira Walker contributed four points and Tyrone Crenshaw had two.

For the Raptors, Howard was the leading scorer with four points while Norris had three and Powell had one.

Bulls 42, Spurs 2

The Bulls opened up a 13-point lead Thursday night and never looked back as they cruised to victory over the Spurs, 42-2.

CharDarrius Davison was the game's leading scorer with 17 points, while Kionte McGrew wasn't far behind with 15 points.

Reginald Mitchell had four points for the Bulls while Rashawn Crenshaw, JarenMalik Davison and Timmy McCall each had two points apiece.

Monkevius Bradley had the Spurs' lone basket.

Midget (boys)

Lakers 29, Pistons 26

Brian Smith and Shon Stone each hit a three-pointer in the final period Tuesday night as the Lakers took the close victory over the Pistons, 29-26.

Brian finished the game with 11 points while Stone finished with eight.

Brandon Smith and Cavante Roberts each had five points in the win.

For the Pistons, Mardevans Moore had a team-high 11 points and finished 5-of-6 from the free throw line.

Derrick Powell also had eight points, Jerome Cook had four and Jarques Riley had three for the Pistons.

Wizards 45, Heat 32

With a seven-point halftime lead, the Wizards came out strong defensively in the third period to take a 45-32 win over the Heat.

Winston Peagler was the game's leading scorer with 17 points, eight of which came in the final period, while Trevor Womack finished with 11 for the Wizards.

Desmond Feagin also had nine points in the win.

For the Heat, Jakeem Davidson had a team-high 10 points while Julius Lymon had eight. Ja'Marcus Davison also had six points and DeMarcus Wilson had five in the loss.

Juniors

Heat 52, Magic 44

Pans McDonald had a team-high 16 points Wednesday night to lead the Heat over the Magic, 52-44.

McDonald also had two three-pointers.

Eric Simmons was the next-leading scorer with 10 points while O'Jay Woods had six and Javaun Kent had five.

For the Magic, Patrick Burnett was the game's leading scorer with 22 points. Paul Tyrell also had 10 points for the Magic while Devin Mallory and Daryl Starks each had four.

Midget (girls)

Sparks 20, Storm 4

Jasmine Norris had a huge night Thursday as she led the Sparks over the Storm, 20-4.

Norris finished with a game-high 10 points while teammates Taylor Deming and Takila Walker each had four.

Noelle Love also had two points in the win.

For the Storm, Ranikqus Walker and Tyleshia Cook each had two points apiece.
