Foster, Holmes plan Feb. 17 ceremony in Montgomery

Geissla and Donnie Holmes of Highland Home are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Candice Michelle Holmes, to Steven Earl Foster, son of Margaret and Warren Foster of Lapine.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Highland Home High School and a 2005 graduate of Faulkner University, where she majored in English.

She is employed by Hooper Academy in Hope Hull, Alabama, as a senior high English teacher.

Bridesmaids for the wedding will be Jennifer Bowen, sister of the bride, and Amy Alldredge and Carrie McBroom, friends of the bride.

The flower girl will be Ashby Henry, friend of the bride.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Highland Home High School and a 2006 graduate of Faulkner University, where he majored in Biblical studies.

He is a youth minister at Liberty Church of Christ in Pintlala, Alabama.

The groomsmen for the wedding will be Stephen Boughton, Matt Hangen and David Stark, friends of the groom.

The ceremony will be conducted by Dr. Floyd Parker and Brother Don Myers, both of whom are professors and friends of the couple.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2007, in the Lester Chapel at Faulkner University in Montgomery.

The couple will spend their honeymoon in Atlanta, Ga.

After the honeymoon, the couple will reside in Pintlala, Ala.
