Harry and Ann Greathouse of Alexander City, Ala., are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Suzanne Saxon of Lapine, to Mark Johns of Lapine.

Miss Saxon is also the daughter of the late Ken Saxon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Clarice Nelson of Alexander City, Ala., the late T. W. Nelson, and the late John Will and Mozelle Saxon of Goodwater, Ala.

She graduated from Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, and earned an Associate's degree from Gadsden State Community College.

She is employed by Alabama Power Company.

The groom-elect is the son of A. J. and Eloise Turman of Lapine. He is the grandson of the late Mark and Gladys Sexton.

Mr. Johns graduated from Highland Home High School and is employed by Jenkins Brick Company.

The wedding will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Alexander City.
