Mr. and Mrs. Alan Furr of Ashville, Alabama, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Flay Furr, to Brandon Madison Morton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Morton, of Gardendale, Alabama.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Edna Sauls and the late Gene Sauls of Lapine, Alabama, Webe Curenton and the late Vera Curenton of Enterprise, Alabama, and the late Charles Furr of Lapine.

She will graduate from nursing school at Jefferson State Community College in August as a Registered Nurse.

She is currently employed with Medical Center East in Birmingham as a nursing assistant.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Rev. Charles E. Morton and the late Wanda Morton of Vero Beach, Florida, and the late Wesley and Mildred Jacobs of Charleston, West Virginia.

He is currently serving in the U. S. Navy stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The wedding is planned for September 8, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Manor in Springville, Alabama.
