Celebrating Easter in Petrey

During Easter weekend, Mr. Raymond and Mrs. Bonnie Trotter and family welcomed home Mr. Clifton, Mrs. Stephanie, and Christian Ryan Trotter. The family attended the Easter service at Live Oak UMC and enjoyed Easter lunch following the service with family and friends.

On Easter Sunday, the members of Campground UMC welcomed Mrs. Karen Wyrosdick at their Easter Sunrise Service.

Mrs. Wyrosdick attended the church service with her son Jason Wyrosdick and was greeted by over 100 friendly faces who were also in attendance at the service.

The congregation of Campground UMC recognized this particular Easter Sunday as a very special one because of the example Mrs. Karen Wyrosdick has set as proof of the Lord’s miraculous works.

On Easter Sunday, Miss Lara Leigh Kelley and Miss Lacey Kelley were visited by their grandparents, Mr. David Kelley, Mrs. Cleo Kelley, and Ms. Tina Wright.

On Easter Sunday, Mrs. Martha Lyons was the afternoon guest of Mrs. Laura Elliott and family.

During Easter weekend, Mr. Kline, Mrs. Patsy, and Ms. Allison Jeffcoat visited Mr. Ryan and Mrs. Kimberley Inlow and their daughters in Albany, Georgia.

They celebrated Allison’s 28th birthday with an Easter lunch following the Easter church service.

When Mr. Kline and Mrs. Patsy Jeffcoat returned to Petrey Sunday afternoon, they entertained Mr. Lawrence, Mrs. Margaret, Mr. William, Mrs. Neva, and Miss Chelsea Petrey with an Easter supper at their home.

On Monday, April 9, Mr. Curtis and Mrs. Nancy Petrey visited their friends Mr. Frank and Mrs. Esther Trosky in Columbus, Mississippi.

On Tuesday, Mr. Curtis attended the American Family Association (AFA) Board meeting in Tupelo, Mississippi.
