GPRD adult softball heats up in second week

Ryan Duncan and Kevin McGough were each 3-for-4 with a triple Tuesday night as TCB's Corner Caf\u00E9 (3-0) toppled Camellia Printing in Greenville Parks and Recreation Department adult league softball, 18-7.

Charleston Wilson was 4-for-4 with a double, a triple and three runs scored while Mike Ingram, James Kelley, Johnny little, Chris Stinson, Luther Shrader and Steven Kelley had two hits apiece, including a homerun by Ingram and Little.

For Camellia Printing, Kyle Lee, Curtis Pierce, Brandon Burnette, and Eric Burkett each had two hits while Zack Shavers and Dennis McCall each had two.

TCB's Corner Caf\u00E9 will return to action Tuesday to take on Hwashin at 7 p.m., on field 2 and SeJong at 8 p.m., on field 3. Camellia Printing will take on Crenshaw Flooring at 7 p.m., Tuesday on field 3 and Hwashin at 8 p.m., on field 2.

Crenshaw Flooring 20, SeJong 6

Van Tony Powell was 4-for-5 with a double, homerun and three runs scored Tuesday to help lift Crenshaw Flooring to victory over SeJong, 20-6.

Cordell Robinson and Charles Jones also each had a homerun while Jason McConico and Wes Robinson each had a triple.

Rodrick Smith, Chris Thompson, Wes Robinson and Jones each finished with two hits while Willie Taylor, Cordell Robinson and Rodney Davidson each had one.

For SeJong, Carlos Perdue and Kim McMeans each had two hits while Bruce Crenshaw had one.

Crenshaw Flooring will take on Camellia Printing at 7 p.m., Tuesday on field 3. SeJong will face TCB's Corner Caf\u00E9 at 8 p.m., on field 3.

SeJong 11, Camellia Printing 7

SeJong scored eight runs in the final inning Tuesday in a come-from-behind win, the first of the season, over Camellia Printing, 11-7.

Offensively for SeJong (1-3), Eric Simpson and Carlos Perdue each scored two runs, including a homerun by Perdue, while Curtis Scott, Alvin Johnson, Kim McMeans, Bruce Crenshaw, Quen Hall, James McMeans and Kevin Smith each scored one.

For Camellia Printing (2-2), Kyle Lee, Curtis Pierce, Brandon Burnette, and Eric Burkett each had two hits while Zack Shavers and Dennis McCall each had two.

Crenshaw Flooring 17, Hwashin 0

Five Crenshaw Flooring players had at least two hits apiece Tuesday as they cruised to victory over Hwashin, 17-0.

Love Taylor, DeMarcus Robinson, Charlie Lowery and Chris Robinson each had two hits while Roderick led the team with three, including a double and a triple.

Van Powell, Wes Robinson, Rodney Davison, Jason and Charles also each had a hit in the win.

For Hwashin, Leonard Ackron and Aaron Savage each had a hit, the only two for the team.

Hwashin will return to action Tuesday as they take on Camellia Printing at 8 p.m., on field 3.

Wildcats 20, Cummings 3

Kristy Payne and Donnette Beard were each 4-for-4 with four runs scored Tuesday as the Wildcats took the easy victory over Cummings, 20-3.

Payne also finished with a double and a homerun while Beard had a pair of doubles and a triple.

Nikki Harris and Sandra Roper had three hits apiece for the Wildcats while Leslie Palmer, Kendra Mitchell, Anita Hawkins, Kathy Murphy and Melissa Roper each had two.

Lakeeta Bonner also had a hit in the win.

For Cummings, Darlene had a pair of hits while Allison had a double and Tyler scattered a single.

The Wildcats and Cummings will return to action Tuesday.
