Mr. and Mrs. Warren Jackson Williamson Jr. announce the engagement of their daughter, Alice Sanders Williamson, to Pat Walton Denton Jr., the son of
Lucy Caldwell Elliott of London, England and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Walton Denton of Cleveland, Mississippi.
Miss Williamson is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Martin Sanders and the late Mr. Sanders of Cleveland, Mississippi and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Jackson Williamson of Greenville, Alabama.
The bride-elect has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Apparel and Textiles from the University of Alabama and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
Alice spent two years in London where she studied at the London Center for Fashion Studies and worked for the designer Tracey Boyd.
In 2004, Alice returned to the United States and started her own design label, Alice Sanders.
She currently resides in New York City and is a member of the Junior League of New York.
Mr. Denton is the grandson of Francis Eugene Gartrell of Jackson, Mississippi,
William Segar Coleman of Gautier, Mississippi and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mason Denton of Shelby, Mississippi.
The groom-elect graduated from St. Paul's School in London.
He has a Master of Arts in Economics and Law from Fitzwilliam College at Cambridge University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law in London.
He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and practiced law with the international firm of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and in New York City.
In 2004, Mr. Denton returned to the United States and worked as an investment banker for Banc of America Securities in New York City.
He currently resides in Dallas, Texas and works for Transition Capital Partners.
The wedding is planned for June 2, 2007 at the home of the bride.
