Hamm leads Orioles past Royals; Whiddon earns win for Rangers

Luke Hamm was 2-for-2 with a run scored Tuesday as time ran out on the Royals and the Orioles took the Dixie Youth victory, 3-1.
Caleb Tillery was 1-for-1 with a run scored for the Orioles (4-3) while Toby King also scored a run in the win.
For the Royals (2-5), Roscoe Moorhead was 1-for-1 with a triple and a run scored.
Tillery earned the win for the Orioles.
The Orioles will return to action Tuesday as they take on Nationals 6 p.m., and the Royals will take on the Rangers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Rangers 6, Nationals 4
Chase Whiddon was 2-for-3 with a triple and a run scored Tuesday to lift the Rangers to victory over the Nationals, 6-4.
Offensively for the Rangers (5-2), Chip Taylor was 1-for-2 with a double and two runs scored, Dylan Jones was 1-for-2 with a triple, Jason Schofield was 1-for-3 with a run scored and Walker Trawick was 1-for-2 with a run scored.
For the Nationals (3-4), Davis Crocker was 1-for-3 with a homerun, Connally Walters was 1-for-2 with a double, James Burkett was 1-for-2 and Brady Clark was 1-for-2.
Whiddon earned the win for the Rangers.
The Rangers will return to action Tuesday as they take on Royals 7:30 p.m., and the Nationals will take on the Orioles Tuesday at 6 p.m.
