TCB#039;s Corner Cafe remains undefeated in GPRD adult softball league

Chris Stinson was 3-for-3 and Jason Smith was 2-for-4 with a homerun and three runs scored Tuesday to help lift TCB's Corner Caf\u00E9 to victory over Crenshaw Flooring in the adult softball league, 11-3.

Offensively for the rest of TCB's Corner Caf\u00E9 (6-0), Charleston Wilson was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored, D.J. Chambers was 2-for-4 with a run scored and Mike Ingram was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a double,

Kevin McGough, Luther Shrader and Bill Conway each scored a run and scattered a hit in the win.

For Crenshaw Flooring (3-1), Tony Powell, Archie Parker, Wes Robinson and Charles Jones each scattered a pair of hits. Willie Smith and Rodney Davidson also each had a hit while Robinson, Smith and Jones each scored a run.

TCB's Corner Caf\u00E9 will take on the Camellia Printing Tuesday at 7 p.m., on field 3 and then take on Hwashin at 8 p.m., on field 2. Crenshaw Flooring will take on SeJong Tuesday at 7 p.m., on field 2 and then take on Camellia Printing at 8 p.m., on field 3.

SeJong 11, Camellia Printing 10

SeJong scored four runs in the final inning Tuesday to overcame a three-run deficit to Camellia Printing, thus taking the come-from-behind win, 11-10.

Carlos Perdue had three hits, including a homerun, and scored two runs to lead SeJong (2-5) while Bruce Crenshaw, Eric Simpson, Alvin Johnson and Brandon Rudolph each had two hits and scored a run.

Curtis Scott, Kim McMeans, Antonio Smith, and Robert McClaney also each had a hit in the win.

For Camellia Printing (4-3), Eric Hicks, Zach Chavers, Kyle Lee and Josh Booker each had two hits while Curtis Pierce, Brady Newton, Eric Burkett, Jabbo Stinson and Brandon Burnett each had one, including a double by Burnett in the fifth.

SeJong will take on Crenshaw Flooring Tuesday at 7 p.m., on field 2. Camellia Printing will take on TCB's Corner Caf\u00E9 Tuesday at 7 p.m., on field 3 and then take on Crenshaw Flooring at 8 p.m., on field 3.

Crenshaw Flooring 21, Hwashin 14

Every player, except one, on both teams combined scored a run Tuesday as Crenshaw Flooring escaped with the win over Hwashin in a marathon game, 21-14.

Offensively for Crenshaw Flooring, Archie Park and Willie Smith each scored three runs, Wes Robinson, Rodney Davison, Charles Jones and Joshua Smith each scored two runs and Van Powell, Ollie Scott, Roderick Smith and Willie Taylor each scored one in the win.

For Hwashin (1-6), Michael Smith, Aaron Savage, Michael Claybourne, Josh Simmons and Rual each scored two runs while Cordrick Johnson, Leonard Ackron, Michael Boggan and Gabriel Martinez each scored one.

Hwashin will return to action Tuesday as they take on TCB's at 8 p.m., on field 2.

Wildcats 18, Cummings 11

Kendra Mitchell and Donna Sunnycalb scored three runs apiece, including two homeruns by Sunnycalb and one by Mitchell, to lift the Wildcats to victory over Cummings, 18-11.

Kristi Payne, Laketta Bonner and Sandra Roper each scored two runs for the Wildcats while Leslie Palmer and Melissa Roper each scored one.

For Cummings, Donna Stinson and Tyler Burrage each scored two runs, including a homerun apiece, while Allison Smith also scored two runs and Dolly Carter, Lynn Adkinson, Stephanie Dawson, Dawn Vickery, Rosie McClain and Kimberly Rhodes each scored one.

The Wildcats and Cummings will return to action Tuesday.
