Randy and Paula Doty of Perdido Key, Fla., announce the engagement of Paula Doty's daughter, Katharine Patricia Adams, to William David Wilhelm, son of David and Dianne Wilhelm of Brantley, Ala.

Ms. Adams is also the daughter of Phil Adams of Chandler, Ariz.

An October wedding is planned.
