Class of 2007

Things are winding down at BHS; therefore, many fun activities have been going on.

On Tuesday, May 15, the annual FFA banquet was held in the cafeteria.

Mr. Mark Andrews, sponsor, presented many awards to the FFA students.

He told the group about the Soil Judging Team's recent trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

As usual, Mr. Andrews and his team hosted an outstanding banquet.

On Thursday, May 17, the elementary students participated in the annual field day activities.

Students participated in relays, tug of war, and 50-yard dashes.

They ended the afternoon's festivities with a baseball game between the fifth and sixth graders.

On Thursday night, the Spring Band Concert was held in the gymnatorium.

Students from Mr. Jim Head's K-6 music classes sang many selections and the fifth and sixth grade bands performed.

The final performance was by the high school band.

They played several selections and everyone did a great job.

During the concert, senior Taylor Andrews was recognized for his dedication and commitment to the band.

On Friday, May 18, the annual Green & White game was played.

Players were split into two teams and played against one another.

I think both teams had a blast and so did the coaches.

As I write this article, I am getting ready to go to my 12th grade graduation ceremony, so this will be my final article for Brantley High School.

Though I am excited about graduating, I am also sad for all the people and things I will leave behind.

I would like to take this time to thank the faculty, staff, and administration at BHS for their caring dedication to me and my classmates.

For me, Brantley School truly is a &#8220Family of Friends” that I will miss.

For my classmates, I have the following wish: May the Lord bless you and keep you, may the Lord's face shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you peace.
