The Pirates scored three runs in the final inning May 22 to take the Georgiana Parks and Rec., Dixie Youth victory over the Braves, 6-4.

Offensively for the Pirates, Tarien Crittenden, Keonte Gilmore, Devin Bonner, Jatavious Finklea, Seth Kelley and DeCarlos Mitchell each scored a run. Mitchell also had a double in the second inning.

For the Braves, Jay Williams, Chance House, Zack Gaston and Alajuwon Payton each scored once.

The Pirates will once again take on the Braves Tuesday at 6 p.m., and then take on the Cardinals at 7 p.m.

Cardinals 13, Braves 5

Matt Lewis hit a homerun and scored two runs May 22 to help lift the Cardinals to victory over the Braves, 13-5.

At the plate for the Cardinals, Zack Compton had a triple and scored two runs, Kyle Compton, Justin Oikle and Rakeem Hugler each scored two runs and Tyler Smith, Rodney Cheatham and Areney Peterson each scored once.

For the Braves, Jay Williams, Christopher Cobb, Chance House, Zack Gaston and Keondra Peterson each scored once.

The Cardinals will take on the Pirates Tuesday at 7 p.m.
