Auburn looking for payback

Alabama had the biggest game of the week last week, and this week, the honor goes to Auburn.

As exciting as Alabama-LSU was last week, I_bet Auburn-Georgia will be just as good this week.

Auburn at Georgia

Last year was a beatdown that the Tigers would rather forget.

I’ve seen both teams play this year, and neither really impressed me when I saw them.

Auburn looked flat against Ole Miss and Georgia was the same way against Troy last week.

But this is a rivalry and you can bet motivation won’t be a problem.

The visiting team has been winning many of these recent games, and I don’t see that changing this year.

Auburn 35, Georgia 24

Alabama at Mississippi State

Once again, Sylvester Croom takes on his old team, the Crimson Tide.

I_think Alabama may be a bit down after the hard loss to LSU, and Mississippi_State has proven they can play with the big dogs.

After all, they have beaten Auburn and Kentucky this year.

I think Alabama will pull it out before the end, but Mississippi State will make it a close game.

Alabama 31, MSU 28

Troy at Western Kentucky

The Hilltoppers are doing well in their first season in Division IA.

However, Troy shouldn’t have a problem with them after giving Georgia all they wanted last week.

Barring some unforeseen letdown, this should be Troy’s first step toward winning the rest of their games and earning a spot in the New Orleans Bowl (or maybe somewhere better.)

Troy 41, WKU 24
