Hopefully this week will be better

Last week was a bad week for me.

Actually, it was bad for half of the top 10, not just me.

I picked Alabama to win, but they lost.

And did anyone actually think Auburn would go into the Swamp and take Florida down?

Maybe I can get back in the groove this week.

Vanderbilt at Auburn

Coming off a big win over Florida, it would be a perfect time for a letdown.

After all, Mississippi State went into Jordan-Hare and took Auburn down.

However, I’m going to be positive and say that last week was a turning point for the Tigers, and they’re on the way to turning their season around.

Auburn 35, Vanderbilt 13

Houston at Alabama

After losing to Florida State and Georgia, Alabama will be looking to get back on the right track, especially in front of 92,000 screaming fans in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama leads the overall series 9-0, and Nick Saban and Co. will make sure that goes to 10-0 on Saturday.

Alabama 24, Houston 10

Troy at Florida International

Florida International has lost 17 games in a row.

17.

Last week, the Panthers lost 47-6 to a previously winless Middle Tennessee State team (who are better than their record shows, by the way).

Unless something goes horribly wrong, Troy should extend that streak to 18 losses in a row.

Troy 48, FIU 17

Illinois 17, Wisconsin 14

Oklahoma 42, Texas 31

Clemson 35, Virginia Tech 20

Purdue 27, Ohio State 21
