Last week didn’t

disappoint SEC fans
I said last week that the country’s biggest games were in the SEC, and these southern boys didn’t let me down.
Not counting the barnburner from Kentucky and Florida, another big game was Vanderbilt upsetting South Carolina.
Alabama put a solid thumping on Tennessee, but unfortunately, all that momentum might go to waste with an off-week for Bama.
As for the other big games around the state, I’ll get to those now…
Ole Miss at Auburn
Auburn and LSU had a close one last week, like I figured they would.
Like I said before the Alabama-Ole Miss game, the Rebels can play with anyone.
However, with Auburn returning home after heartbreak in Baton Rouge, you can bet they’ll have their guns loaded for Ole Miss.
It might be close for a while, but I don’t think it will be at the end.
Auburn 35, Ole Miss 17
Troy at Arkansas State
For some reason or another, it seems like the Trojans just can’t take down Arkansas State.
Troy hasn’t beaten them since the Trojans joined the Sun Belt.
However, Troy has been dominating the conference, and with all the strong showings against larger teams this season, a trip to Jonesboro won’t intimidate the Trojans.
Look for Troy to break the streak.
Troy 24, ASU 13
