Mrs. Nancy Catherine Lyon, 76, of River Falls, died Thurs., Sept. 4, 2008, in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Sat., Sept. 6, 2008, at 2 p.m. from the Foreman Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Canant officiated. Interment followed in the River Falls Cemetery.
Special music was provided by Margaret Dewrell, Sharon Leonard, Glenda Barnes and Beverly Kuhn.
Mrs. Lyon is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Keith Canant of River Falls; two grandchildren, Chris and Leeann Canant and Courtney and Josh Cline, all of River Falls; four great-grandchildren, Tori Canant, Christian Cline, Grace Cline and Brady Canant; one brother, Bobby Oakley of Hartsell, S.C. and a sister, Bernice Rivers of Columbia, S.C.
Mrs. Lyon was preceded in death by her husband, T.E. “Red” Lyon.
Pallbearers were Steve Maddox, Josh Cline, Keith Lynch, Billy Lynch, Rocky Shertler and Larry Gunter. Honorary pallbearers will be Ellie (Steve) Stephens and Hamner Curry.
