Clayton Cobb, Sr.

Mr. Clayton Anderson Cobb Sr., 75, of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., Sept. 18, 2008, at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Cobb will be held today, Sat., Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. at Cope Funeral Home Chapel in Evergreen. Interment will follow in Cobb Cemetery in Brooklyn, Ala.
Visitation was held Fri., Sept. 19, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Mr. Cobb, who was born in Barth, Fla., on Feb. 10, 1933, was a machinist by trade. He was a member of the Paul Fire Department for several years and past president of the Conecuh County Fire Association.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Cobb of Andalusia; sons, Clayton Anderson Cobb Jr., Richard Allen Cobb and William Lynward Cobb, all of Andalusia; daughters, Wanda Suzette Childress and Marion Colleen Childress, both of Mobile; brother, Russell Allen Cobb of Andalusia; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cope Funeral Home of Evergreen is in charge of the arrangements.
