Mrs. Carmie Taylor Sweatt of Georgiana died Sun., Sept. 21, 2008, in the Georgiana hospital.
Funeral services were held Tues., Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. at the South Church of God with the Rev. Glenn Vaughn and Mark Brown officiating. Interment followed in the Vera Cruz Methodist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Keahey Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, Noel Sweatt of Red Level; brother, Ned Walls of Opp; grandchildren, Selena (Chris) Polk of Wetumpka, Brenda (Thomas) Reid of Red Level and Dianne (Charlie) Allen of Panama City, Fla.; and great-grandchildren, Heather Walden, Clint Floyd, Cora Lynn Polk, Brad Polk and Brandon Polk.
Mrs. Sweatt was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Hillery Sweatt, and son, Harold Sweatt
