Mrs. Voncile Blackwell McCart, 77, of the Carolina community, died Tues., Sept. 23, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Sept. 26, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Meadows and Kevin Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Carolina Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Randy Cannon, Shelia Greer and Debora and George Evans, all of Andalusia; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; her brother, Julius (Faye) Bass of Andalusia; her sisters, Elvira (Charlie) Baker of Tallassee and Hazel Huckabaa of Andalusia.
Mrs. McCart is preceded in death by her parents, Jamie and Cleo Bass; her husband, Clifton Blackwell; daughter, Cornelia Cox; her son, Clifton Joseph Blackwell; two sisters, Betty Huckabaa and Christine Smith; a brother, James Irvin Bass; and son-in-law, Charles Greer.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Thompson, Brad Capers, Glen Worley, Al Boyett, Gary Sutton and George William Evans III.
