Funeral services for Mrs. Clydell Carpenter, 98, of Jack, were held at 1 p.m. Wed., Oct. 8, at the Victoria Baptist Church on Highway 125 in the Victoria Community. Burial followed in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Geneva County with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Wednesday.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Vernon J. (Mary L.) Carpenter of Jack; daughter-in-law, Johnnie Merle McGowin of Brundidge; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
