Mrs. Evon Mitchell Palmer, 58, of Andalusia, died Fri., Oct. 31, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Mon., Nov. 3, at Adellum Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Boles and Bro. Richard Moss officiating. Special music was provided by Ted Watson and the Good News Quartet. Interment followed in the Adellum Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Greg Palmer of Andalusia and Steve (Jennifer) Palmer of Andalusia; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy (Dale) Pike of Andalusia and Renee (Don) Bullard of Andalusia; step-son, Jeff Palmer; step-daughter, Mellisia and John Tobias; brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude (Christine) Quinley of Irving, Texas, Leon (Frances) Mitchell of Andalusia, Johnny (Patricia) Mitchell of Phenix City and David (Linda) Mitchell of River Falls; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennie Mae (Jimmy) Brogden of Andalusia, Alberta Armstrong of Andalusia and Sara Coleman of Phenix City; and grandchildren, Morgan Palmer, Ryan Palmer, Dalton Palmer, Stuart Williams, Brynn Leigh Palmer, Tamdri Adams, Robbie Weaver, Robyn Weaver, Kendrick Weaver, Amber Armstrong and Jody Armstrong.
Pallbearers included Mike Bowlan, Jeffry Mitchell, Tim Mitchell, Walter Palmer, Richard Stephens and Ruby King.
