Mrs. Patsy Marie Martin, 69, a resident of Florala in the North Creek community, passed away Thurs., Nov. 27, 2008, at the home of her sister, Kathy Butler, in Niceville, Fla.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Mon., Dec. 1, at Evans Funeral Home in Florala with the Rev. Johnny White officiating. Interment followed in the North Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was born Feb. 17, 1939, in Fairfield, Ill., the daughter of the late Hayward James Canull and Reba Burke Canull.
Survivors include daughters, Jacquelyn (Jackie) Nutt of Opp and Juanita (Mollie) Ellisor of Florala; sons, James Kevin Martin of Florala and Robert Neal Martin of Opp; sisters, Betty Harrison of Marianna, Sharon Gaither and Dixie Lenseigne, both of Green Pond, Ala., and Kathy Butler of Niceville; brothers, Jim Canull of Champaign, Ill., Oma Canull and Gene Canull, both of DeFuniak Springs; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamon Martin, and her son, Benjamon R. Martin.
