Mr. David C. Selman, 68, of Andalusia, died Wed., Dec. 10, 2008, in an Opp nursing home.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. from the Foreman Funeral Home. Interment, with Masonic rites, will be in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. The Rev. Marie White will officiate.
Mr. Selman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Selman; two sons, Mike (Kay) Selman of Ottawa, Kan., and Larry (Brenda) Selman of Red Level; five grandchildren; one sister, Lois Allen of Florence, Ala., and one brother, Frank (Ethel) Selman of Fairhope.
Mr. Selman was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Selman; one brother, Charles Selman, and one sister, Betty Towns.
Pallbearers will be Lee Allen, Mike Osborn, Bobby Connor, Bob Shellman, Rusty Towns and Chuck Bradley.
The body will lie in state from 6 p.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.
Flowers or memorials to North Baptist Church of Ottawa, Kan., or Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church of Andalusia will be accepted.
