My family and I want to thank this community for all their effort and support during our recent tragedy with the loss of our husband and father, John O’Brien. The Covington County Sheriff’s Department did an outstanding job.

I especially want to thank Greg Jackson, Howard West, and a very special person, Joe Schneider. They did everything possible to help me. Thank you to Paul Dean of the Andalusia Police Department and all the staff of the Andalusia Regional Hospital that helped in our time of need. A very special thank you to everyone for their visits, flowers, food, phone calls, cards, and prayers. We are all so very blessed to live in such a caring community.
