Jerry Maddox

Jerry Wayne Maddox, 59, of Evansville, passed away Thurs., Jan. 29, 2009, at Deaconess Hospital.
He was born Aug. 6, 1949, in Andalusia and earned an associate’s degree from Lurleen B. Wallace Junior College. He was a disabled veteran, serving 15 years with the Army, and was a member of Haven Pentecostal Church in Henderson, Ky.
He loved and enjoyed his family more than anything in life.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cynthia Maddox; two sons, Michael Maddox and David Maddox and wife, Rebecca; the joy of his life, granddaughter, Sarah Maddox; brother, Gary Maddox and wife, Jill; sister, Sandra Neal; mother-in-law, Alice Johnson; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Dale Hinton.
Services were held Mon., Feb. 2, at Haven Pentecostal Church, officiated by the Rev. Willard Clements, with the Rev. Phillip Wagner, the Rev. Kerry Davis and the Rev. Billy Patch assisting, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
