Museum vandals sought

The East Three Notch Museum was vandalized sometime Tuesday night, and the Andalusia Police Department is seeking information on the person or persons responsible.

Chief Wilbur Williams said the two of the rail cars and a portion of the city’s Farmer’s Market building had expletives spray-painted on the sides.

“The words on there are too graphic to print,” Williams said. “Someone just walked up there, spray painted the sides and walked away. Unfor-tunately, spray paint doesn’t leave fingerprints, so we’re on the lookout for anyone with any information on those responsible.”

The graffiti was reported Wednesday morning and was still visible Friday.

Anyone having information about the incident is asked to contact the APD at 222-1155.
