Mrs. Mary Nolen, 84, of Andalusia, died Sun., Feb. 15, 2009, in the Andalusia hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Keahey Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Boles officiating. Special music will be provided by her granddaughter, Brenda Ammons. Interment will follow in the Mott Cemetery in South with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Dolton Pete (Marian) Ammons of Illinois and Donal (Helen) Ammons of China; daughters and son-in-law, Elane (William “Bill”) Rawls of Smyrna, Ga., and Brandi Nolen of Andalusia; a sister, Lavonia Griffin of Brownwood, Texas; grandchildren, Brenda Ammons, Michael Ammons, Michelle Rawls, Daniel Ammons, Jason Ammons, Abby Ammons, Richard Ammons and Abbie Gail Deason, and great-grandchildren, Patricia Ramos, Ryan Rowe, Katy Senne and D.J., Cameron and Dominic Ammons, Madison Ammons, Peyton and Gabby Ammons and Tyler and Ethan Ammons.
Pallbearers will include Richard Ammons, Michael Ammons, Daniel Ammons, Cecil Ammons, Tony Nolen and John Ammons.
Mrs. Nolen was preceded in death by her husbands, Dolton Ray Ammons and Ray Nolen, her sister, Loyette Hendrix Ollie, and two brothers, Ben and Sherman Hendrix.
