Gypsy Kate Scofield Banks, 70, of Opp, died at her residence Tues., March 10, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today from Wyatt Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura (James Grady) Howard; son, Scott (Linda) Banks; brother, Jimmy Scofield; sister, Doris Wicks; and grandchildren, Zach Banks, Alex Banks and Taylor Howard.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marlon Banks; son, Chipper Banks; and grandchild, Chandler Howard.
Cecil Jackson and Wayne Sharpe will be officiating with Wyatt Funeral Home directing.
