Mrs. Corrine Barnes, 88, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., March 20, 2009, in the Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sun., March 22, from Foreman Funeral Home with Dr. Fred Karthaus officiating. Burial was in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Barnes retired in 1996 after working 54 years as a beautician. She was the owner of Lib’s Beauty Shop.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Eddie Segars of Andalusia; her grandson, David Everage of Andalusia; granddaughter, Deann Dover of Los Angeles, Calif.; her step-grandson, Adam (Chrystal) Segars of Ozark, Ala.; step-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hanna Segars of Ozark; and her brother, Edward (Laura) Andrews of Mineral Bluff, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Sally Andrews of Damascus Community; husband, Joseph R. Barnes; and two brothers, Marvin Andrews of Amarillo, Texas, and Dennis (Marzelle) Andrews of Brewton, Ala.
Pallbearers were her nephews, Tommy Barnes, Jerald Barnes, Joe Barnes, Donald Barnes, Wayne Barnes, Jerry Barnes and Doyle Barnes.
