Mrs. Louise Brookins Smith, 76, of Andalusia, died Tues., March 31, 2009, in the Florala Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Fri., April 3, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Wilkerson, the Rev. Jay Driver, the Rev. Larry Stewart and the Rev. Robert Osbourne officiating. Special music will be provided by Ronnie Driver and Jill Maddox. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. tonight at Keahey Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Good News Chapel Building Fund.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, the Rev. Melvin Smith of Andalusia; sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin E. (Joann) Smith Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Daniel Earl (Rhonda) Smith of Andalusia; daughters and sons-in-law, Libby (Roger) Knox and Beverly June Smith, all of Andalusia; a sister and brother-in-law, Carrie (Raymond) Manders of Augusta, Ga.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
