Katherine Flournoy

Mrs. Katherine Flournoy, 89, of Andalusia, formerly of Montgomery, died Fri., April 17, 2009, in the Andalusia Manor nursing facility.
Mrs. Flournoy resided in Montgomery for 48 years before moving to Andalusia. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Andalusia with the Rev. Tim Trent officiating the services. Burial followed in Able Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her sons, Daniel B. Flournoy, Jr., of Hollywood, Calif., and James Darby (Debra) Flournoy of Gantt; her grandson, Paul Daniel (Taylor) Flournoy of Columbus, Ohio; her sister, Helen Darby Phillips of Andalusia; a nephew, Gerald Darby of Atlanta, Ga., and a niece, Jeron Reeves of Gantt.
Mrs. Flournoy is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Burch Flournoy.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Wesley Sunday School Class of the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery.
