The Andalusia boys golf team will travel next Tuesday to Mobile to take part in the Class 4A sectional tournament.

The top four teams out of the tournament will then move on to the sub-state tournament the following Tuesday (May 5) in Pelham.

Andalusia golf coach Daniel Bulger said the team has gotten “better” since the start of the season.

“We’ve steadily gotten better,” Bulger said. “We had our best round of the year at home on Monday. We shot a 308.

“We’ve got some guys that are consistently shooting in the 70s. If we can keep four in the 70s, than we can be competitive,” he said. “Hopefully we’re going to peak and play on the same page.”
