Mrs. Minnie Ruth Griffin of Red Level died Tues., April 21, 2009, at the Andalusia hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, Fri., April 24, at Fairmount Baptist Church with the Rev. Dexal Copeland officiating. Interment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.
Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by husbands, William Brandon Prestwood and Ira Virgil Griffin; parents, Carl W. and Ruby T. Smith, and brothers, Egbert Smith, Adrien Smith and James H. Smith.
Mrs. Griffin is survived by a son, William Thomas Prestwood of Freeport, Fla.; a daughter, Rebecca Anne Prestwood and a sister, Wylene Ellis, both of Red Level.
Pallbearers will be Terry Liles, Billy Liles, Coy Williams, Larry Sims, Mike Purnell and Gene Stallings.
