Approximately 65 citizens joined on the courthouse square in Andalusia Thursday afternoon to commemorate the National Day of Prayer. Several speakers from a variety of walks of life gave testimony and spiritual guidance during the service.
Ted Watson, principal at Andalusia Middle School, offered a prayer for the nation’s schools; District Court Judge Frank “Trippy” McGuire offered a prayer for the nation’s leaders, and the Rev. Clyde Northrop offered a prayer for the nation’s military and veterans.
