Gary Wayne Mitchell Sr., 55, of Red Level, died Sat., May 23, at his residence after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Green Harrell officiated. Special music was by Diane and Terry Faust and Anita Kervin. Burial followed in Gorum Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Mitchell of Red Level; sons and daughters-in law, Gary Wayne Mitchell Jr. of Paris, Texas, Jessie Allen Mitchell of Marshall, Texas, Ryan Lamar and Katie Mitchell of Clarksville, Tenn., Julian Shane Mitchell and Hannah Cotton of Red Level; grandchildren, Seth Mitchell and Bailee Mitchell; sisters, Pam Cox of North Carolina, Tammy Cross of Atmore; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Phillip and Julia Ann Peavy of Red Level.
Serving as pallbearers were Mickey Kervin, Chris Kervin, Curtis Kervin, Reggie Davis, Gary Musgrove, Ben Skipper, Dewayne Gladwell, and Robert Coleman.
