Mrs. Doris Boothe Walters, 87, of Andalusia, died Tues., May 26, 2009, in a local nursing facility. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. today, Thurs., May 28, at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Smith Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Walters is survived by her sons, Mack Walters of Wetumpka and Glen (Phyllis) Walters of Andalusia; a daughter, Susan (Tommy) LeSage of Wetumpka; grandchildren, Russell (Claire) Walters, Abby (Wes) Thomasson, Zack Walters; a great-grandchild, Kylie Thomasson; a sister, Sybil Pouncey of Florala; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Williamson, Alan Williamson, D.C Lambert, Joey Holt, Marcus Godwin and Lee Hamrac.
