Gerald Foshee

Mr. Gerald Dean Foshee, 79, of River Falls, died Tues., June 30, 2009, in a local hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. from the River Falls Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Long Branch Cemetery. The Rev. Carl Douglas will officiate.
Mr. Foshee was born and raised in Covington County. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served five years. Afterwards, he attended and graduated from Auburn University. He returned to Covington County and spent the rest of his life farming.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Janie Foshee of River Falls; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Debra Foshee of River Falls; one daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Davy Autrey of Selma; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Caleb, Caden and Carson Autrey; one sister, Peggy Foshee Davis; his niece, Lisa Davis; and two nephews, Lee Davis and Jay Davis.
Pallbearers will be John McGowin, Alex McGowin, George Foshee, Winston Foshee, Clayton Hugghins, Billy Hugghins, Crum Foshee and Hugh Barrow. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Hugghins, Booster Foshee, Pete Ball, Wheeler Foshee and Stuart Foshee.
