Mrs. Merita Ann Sasser, 71, of Conyers, Ga., formerly of the Goodhope area in Covington County, died Sun., Sept. 13, 2009, in Conyers, Ga.
Memorial services will be held Sun., Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. from the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Sasser is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Blaine Gamble of Conyers, Ga.; a son, Robert Glenn Sasser of Dozier; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lamar Colbert of Phoenix City and Larry Colbert of Columbus, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sasser was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Sasser.
