Isshinryu students see tourney success

The 10th annual Albertville Open was held on Sat., Oct. 10, in Albertville, and Andalusia Isshinryu Karate students placed in the top five in each of their respective divisions.
They are as follows:
Reese Burkhardt — white/yellow belt division: second place, weapons and kata; and first place, fighting.
Colin Marcum — white/yellow belt division: second place, weapons; and third place, kata and fighting.
Abigail Thomas — white/yellow belt division: third place, kata; and second place, fighting.
Alex Myrick — white/yellow belt division: fourth place, kata; and first place, fighting.
Marie Josey — green belt division: third place, kata; and second place, fighting.
Kassidy Mears — green belt division: fourth place, weapons; and second place, fighting.
John Allen Wise — green belt division: second place, kata and fighting.
Rusty Mears — green belt division: fourth place, weapons.
Justin Majors — brown belt division: third place, weapons; second place, kata; and first place, fighting.
Hogan Nichols — brown belt division: third place, weapons; and first place, kata and fighting.
Rex Butler — brown belt division: second place, weapons; and third place, fighting.
Rexanne Butler — brown belt division: second place, weapons and kata; and fourth place, fighting.
Allen Butler — black belt division: second place, weapons; fourth place, kata; and first place, fighting and musical kata.
Phillip Martin — black belt division: second place, weapons; third place, kata; and first place, fighting.
