The Rev. Ray A Smalls of Red Level, pastor of Georgiana Church of God, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 11, 2009.
A memorial service will be held 11 am, today, Sat., Nov. 14, at the Mt. Pisgah Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Evelyn Smalls; a daughter, Angela Blackburn of Swansea, S.C.; a son, David Smalls of Steubenville, Ohio; a granddaughter, Kassie Hurst of Swansea, S.C.; two grandsons, Cody Smalls of Washington state and Brandon Smalls of Columbia, S.C.; a great-grandson, Lee Smalls of Washington state; two sisters, Helen Bush and Pearl Dewrell, both of Andalusia; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Smalls was preceded in death by his father, Walter Smalls, mother, Leola Wiggins Smalls, two sisters, Rosella Green and Dorothy Amerson, and a half sister, Estell Wiggins.
