Jimmy Stallings

Mr. Jimmy Stallings, 69, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Andalusia, died Sat., Nov. 14, 2009, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.
Jim was reared in Andalusia, joined the Navy and became a barber. He returned to Andalusia and entered law enforcement and served as a deputy sheriff for 10 years, then as an investigator with the D.A.’s office for another 10 years. He later moved to Birmingham and became an internal investigator with the State of Alabama. After a long career in law enforcement, Jim moved to Pensacola, Fla., and returned to barbering.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., today, Tues., Nov. 17, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Dr. Fred Karthaus will officiate the service, and the eulogy will be given by Gene Stallings.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Keith Hines of Andalusia; his son, Jeff Stallings of Pensacola, Fla.; his grandchildren, Jason Hines, Tom Hines, Amy Hines, Mallory Stallings and Sydney Stallings, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Tom Hines, Jason Hines, Larry Stallings, Jeffery Martin and Louis Nicolletti.
Special music will be performed by Jimmy Williamson.
