Linda Sue Hatcher Rawls, age 66, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., Nov. 17, 2009, at the North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Sonny Steele will officiate. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. today, prior to services.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Robert J. (Bob) Rawls of Gantt; her son, Robert Jefferson (Jeff) Rawls II of Tucson, Ariz., along with grandchildren, Jared, Brendan, and Eli; her daughter, Renee Rawls-Brawner and son-in-law, Chris Brawner, along with grandchildren, Zackary and Rachel; her daughter, Victoria (Tori) Shirey, and son-in-law, Terry Shirey, along with grandchildren, Austin and Karlee; her brother, James (Linda Karen) Hatcher; her sister, Barbara “Bobbie” (Briggs) Gibson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Hatcher; and her parents, W.L. (Doc) Hatcher and Hazel Jones Hatcher.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was devoted to her family. Linda owned and operated the Charm Center Beauty Shop in Andalusia for more than four decades. She loved and adored her customers as they adored her. She was full of life and loved to fish.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice in her honor.
