Lois Henderson

Mrs. Lois Messick Henderson, 92, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., Dec. 2, 2009, in the Andalusia hospital.
Funeral services were held Fri., Dec. 4, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Greg Cotter officiated, and special music was provided by Roger McClain. Burial followed in the Henderson Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one son, Donald Jerry Henderson of Andalusia; one daughter, Charlotte (Lee S.) Dreading of Andalusia; brothers, Ottis Messick, Rudolph Messick, Cecil Messick and Robert Messick, all of Andalusia; sisters, Lola Mae Owens, Elaine Owens and Connie Sasser, all of Andalusia, and Janice Nelson of Montgomery; a grandchild, James Daniel Dreading; and great-grandchildren, Connor Howard, Katy Howard, Kacy Howard and Graham Benjamin Dreading, all of Tuscaloosa.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sheri Lee Dreading Howard; and sister, Lurlene Mahaffey.
Pallbearers were Connor Howard, Tim Messick, Rickey Messick, Allan Canant, Bobby Messick and Manuel Owens.
