Mr. Johnnyphar J. Davis, 67, of Main Street, Dozier, died Wed., Dec. 16, 2009, in a local hospital.
Funeral services were held Fri., Dec. 18, at Dozier Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Hogwood and the Rev. Thomas Scott officiating. Interment followed at Kimbro Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Marquita Davis; son, Chris Davis; daughter, Letrese Davis, all of Dozier; nine grandchildren, Latoya Guice, O.J. Guice, Raven Davis, Destiny Jones, Bradley Jones, Boogie Jones, Mia Davis, Kielan Davis and Isaiah Levens; brothers, Rhett (Karen) Davis of Dozier and T. J. (Mary) Davis of Andalusia; and sisters, Ruby (Bill) Petty and Glenda (Hubert) Aughtmon, all of Gantt, and Paulette (Moon) Scott of Red Bay, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Sims, Randy Cornelius, John Campelle, Bill Petty, Jeff Davis and Josh Davis.
